Helping hand in a alien land

This afternoon, RT TV Channel telectast an interesting documentary that showed how Russia helped Mauritius that was emormously affected by a natural disaster neary 50 years ago.

As a person who has not been interested in local, national or international politics, I keep my unbiassed stand about Russia and Ukraine and I think that both countries need to be mutually friendly and support each other.

When I was working in Ethiopia as a Physics Teacher in a remote area in Tigrai Region in 1982-83, I and my fellow Indian colleague Sebastian Peruumcheril John from Kerala, used to be greeted by local children. Our colleagues used to tell that we were treated how these children's parents treated Russians who offered enormous help in socio-economic development of Ethiopia. I have seen how educated Ethiopians respected Marxist Leninist ideologies.

The documentary shows opinions of a few Mauritians of Indian ancestry.

Let me share the documentary here.
