My visit to dentist

This morning I had been to the dental clinic as follow-up. The dentist got my rotten tooth plucked out. He took updated measurements for my denture. My next visit is on Friday.

Although the clinic is just five minutes walk from my sister's house, as I still have some balance problem when I walk, I use a walker. When elderly people have balance problem, a common solution is to use a walker or assisted by any attendant in the absense of walker. Sushma, my niece, is very kind to accompany me to the clinic and back even when I use walker. She did M Sc Microbiology and B Ed.

Dr Naveen Joseph Muliyil, the dentist, Dr Merlin Muliyil, his dentist wife, and the paramedical staff at their clinic have been very kind and hospitable. The clinic is very patient friendly and excellently maintained.

A few days before I left Chennai and was suffering from severe ill-health, my landlord and his wife, both highly qualified engineers, about whom I have mentioned in my previous posts) were very kind in providing food, packing my luggage and arranging for calltaxi.

My sister has also been very kind although she has pain in the leg due to recent falls; she has been taking medicines for her high BP and diabetes.

I thank all these people. With heavy heart, I  fondly remember my beloved brother (six and a half years younger than me) who used to take me many times to Aravind Eye Hospital in Chennai to treat my cataract.

Krishnam Sarva Mayam🙏.
