Scrabbles

Scrabble is a popular game and a very effective English Language Teaching aid in school classrooms. This evening there was a very interesting documentary featuring the game's popularity in Thailand on cna TV Channel.

I tried to provide a link to the documentary, but couldn't access it from the TV Channel. However I could access an earlier program from cna TV Channel's website. Let me share this program.

I remember how I used to motivate my teaching staff and students into this interesting game not only in learning English language but also subjects such as science that were taught in English medium across the curriculum. I think that my staff and students liked the game and reaped the benefits.

I have always found scrabbles and crossword puzzles to be very effective teaching/training aids.
