African Legacy

Russian State TV has begun a new documentary known as African Legacy

(Most of us have wrong perception of culture and traditions of people of other countries due to lack of knowledge and understanding. I myself realised it only after beginning to live in Africa. I was surprised to find two Ghanaian colleagues speaking to each other in English instead of their own languages. I heard from a Ghanaian colleague that they take bath thrice daily).

As a professional who worked in Africa for nearly 8 years, I think that the program will be of interest in that it will bring insights that are usually sidelined or ignored by Western Media.

Programmes such as African Legacy can broaden our outlook about Africa and it's diverse cultures and traditions.
