Cambodia

Last year I heard that Phnom Penh, capital city of Cambodia, is the fastest developing city in South East Asia. It's probably true. People who have lived in the city know that it is a very vibrant city. As a professional attached to the Cambodian Ministry of Education, I have lived in the city and have travelled to provinces frequently on work. I remember Takeoprovince, where I had spent a day on work.

This afternoon NHK WORLD JAPAN TV telecast an interesting documentary on how a young Japanese University graduate helped local communities in Phnon Penh and Takeo and contributed in improving their livelihood. Let me share the documentary here

I remember how Japanese NGOs such as JICA used to be active in Phnom Penh.
