Vietnam

Contrary to popular belief, when two countries with different ideologies merge into one country, the process paves the way for development of the whole country including  the relatively underdeveloped component. Let me share one example: Vietnam.  

Other examples are Tanzania (formed by Tanganyika and Zanzibar), annexture of India and Sikkim, and Germany (formed by Federal Republic of Germany and German Democratic Republic).


Vietnamese share very similar culture and traditions that are followed by Cambodians.
